1966 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible Complete Unrestored Rust Free Survivor
1966 Oldsmobile 442
Unrestored 1966 442 convertible previously owned by rock and roll legend and lead singer Lou Gramm of Foreigner with documentation. It's also mentioned in a Nov. 2, 2018 Motor Trend Celebrity Drive story about Lou and his cars. Car is complete and ready for restoration and had been previously been painted its original Tropic Turquoise color but unfortunately it was a horrendous job definitely a 20 footer. The car has perfect rust free floorboards, door bottoms and frame with only a dime sized hole in the trunk. Interior is still very respectable including the dash pad. With good floors this car definitely didn't originate in New England and probably came from southern or western states and is a perfect candidate for a complete restoration. The only rust issue is a spot at the left rear body mount as shown in the last photo. Car has been in storage since it was last registered in 1996 and the engine and or starter is stuck. Mileage shown is 16024 so it has gone around once. Body plate indicates a production date of 02A which I believe is the 1st week of February but the engine block casting number is 389298B which would indicate a 1965 400 engine for 442's only? I have no idea when production actually started so is it possible it could have had a 65 engine installed at the factory? Car is for sale locally so auction may end at any time so bid early. No title but do have a transferable registration. Overseas shipping is not a problem. Need more pictures or info I can be reached by text at 603-381-7444. Text your phone number for a return call. A $1000.00 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours via pay pal with balance due within 7 days via wire transfer or cash upon pick-up. 1966 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible Complete Unrestored Rust Free Survivor 1966 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible Complete Unrestored Rust Free Survivor Description* Please Scroll Down Below Description Because Sometimes There Are More Pictures Than The 12 Allowed Through E-Bay*
