21k original miles 2 owner with Driver and passenger side airbags ACRS

1974 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Regency

I purchased this car a couple years ago from the original owner with 21,000 miles. 1974 was GM first year for Drivers and Passengers side airbags {ACRS} and Oldsmobile's first year for the 98 Regency trim leve, in doing some research GM canceled this program as an option in 1976 due to poor and uniformed consumers to elect this available option for their C body platforms making these cars a part of automobile history . Production numbers are hard for me to find but believe there were 200 1974 98's produced with ACRS with a reconfigured dash to allow this system to functio, that in turn deleted options such as tilt wheel and shoulder belts . in one of my document pictures is an original letter from GM stating their commitment to research on this program for crash data if available. there is an arming system that lights up on the dash when the key is turned on for power making the system still functional... I have done several maintenance upgrades such as new tires new shocks and a tune up plus a new carburetor, the car runs drives and stops grea, this is not a well optioned car with pwr windows and locks pwr trunk pwr ds sea, am-fm 8 track and tempermatic a/c that currently isn't charged up but has a new r-12 compresso, it has a drivers side manifold leak and needs repaired .
