1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 for sale! This 442 was built in Pontiac, Michigan and I purchased car in Virginia. This car has 39,500 miles and a clean Michigan title. Paint was done about 5 years ago and looks good although not great. The interior looks like new and reflects the low miles. This Olds is highly optioned with power mirrors, t-tops with bags, tilt wheel, cruise, power antenna and power trunk. The car runs good and doesn't leak or smoke at all. 1987 was the last year for the rear wheel drive 442 and only 4208 were made. The 442's were built on the Cutlass Supreme platform in 1987. The 442 package included a heavy duty drive train, 15x7 rims, manual air shocks, special paint scheme, decal package, dual snorkel air cleaner with chrome lid, 442 door panel emblems and AC. This car was equipped with 8.5 inch GM Corporate differential and 3.73:1 ring and pinion gears. The 442's are distinguished with a "9" in the 8th character of VIN. This 442 has the original 307cu motor with the roller-cam valve train and new swirl-port heads to improve economy and low-end torque. The 1987 442 used the KZF code THM 200-4R transmission which removed shift harshness of OZ trans. This car is always garaged and covered. Please ask questions before BIN.
