Please read this auction fully as well as look at all pictures prior to bidding. If you do not have funds in hand to purchase this vehicle in hand to buy her, do not bid. This is a one time auction listing, if she does not sell back in the garage she goes. I am listing her with a fair price, so please bid within your budget and bid to own. I will answer all questions as fast as possible, however I will not answer questions about reserve. This is an auction that she is listed to sell. Now up for auction we have a super super clean well cared for pampered 1978 Oldsmobile 98 2-door with 112k miles. You can fly in and drive home with no concerns. Body: Is super straight with no rust or rot anywhere on her (been garage kept), the paint was redone years ago, but a high quality job done by a pro. Shows and shines new (has some dust on her in pics from being indoors), 1/4 top is in great shape with no rips or tears of any kind, and she has original Vogue tyres with true basket rims (also a full spare on the rim too!) She is in far better shape then just a driver, but to be perfect she will need the 2 clips (see pics) on the roof mouldings, mouldings could use a paint refresh, bumpers have typical oxidization from age. Overall looks and shines great ready for the spring shows and cruises. Mechanically: Runs and drives great with no known issues or problems. Everything works the way it should, could use an a/c charge from sitting in the garage though. Interior: She is all original with no rips or tears of any kind and like I said she is all original! To be perfect she will need a LF side bench seat moulding, and a new RF floor rug (brittle from age and has cracked over time). All in all this is a rare, hard to find Olds 98 that is in far better original shape then anything you are going to find. Like I said fly in and drive home if you dare. She is being sold as is, transporting is the winning bidders expense as well as tax, dmv, plates, etc. Those are fees you pay to your state not to me.
