1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass
ONLY 60k ORIGINAL MILES!This vehicle is a strong runner. The only work I've done to it is recently as it has been sitting for over a year since the last owner passed away. Title is clear in my name and it states 62,000 as the mileage, but as can be seen in the photo it is slightly over 62k.
Since I have had it in my possession I have changed several filters, fluids, belts, put a new battery, changed the bolts in the intake and the intake gasket, rebuilt the carburetor. The windows, tires, and other major factors are all solid.
This car was a weekend driver. It took one road trip to New Mexico wherein it put on a few of those miles. It was meticulously waxed every other Saturday by one of the previous owners/caretakers. So the paint job is good, but may need at the least a clear coat, at the most maybe have it wetsanded first. Original cream color paint job. Same cream on the inside.
The interior needs work. New top lining, dash board, steering wheel (Grant steering wheel included with car) and possibly the carpet, unless you know a rockin detailer who is magic then you can whip the carpets and upholstery up really nice.
I originally was unsure what to list this for, as it is a bit of a rarer cutty with the V8, 4.8L with the 315 that can be converted to a 350 Im told.
However seeing these models completely restored with similar mileage go for over 20k and in decent condition with low mileage for around $4000-$5000.
Aside from the cosmetic tlc that will be necessary on the interior, and the short in the AC somewhere (only effects the ac) this car is pretty solid and has very low mileage. Therefore I have posted it for the price listed and am open to any REASONABLE offers.
