1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass

Up for auction is a real nice 68 Cutlass that I took in trade on my 69 H/O that I sold to a long time friend.
The car came from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It is a low mileage car at 62,701 actual miles with all kinds of service records to validate the mileage. The car was bought by an older couple when they were 62 years old. They kept the car until it was sold through there estate. It seems it was used as just a "Sunday cruiser" from that point on. My friend owned the car for the last 4 years.
The car is equipped with the 350 2-barrel Rocket engine with automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, bench seat, and not much else. The car runs and drives great, it has new tires. The car has its original brake shoes in it which should be changed in the next few thousand miles as they are getting thin and the brakes get a little grabby when you first use the brakes. The interior is in real nice shape with only the carpet showing some fading.
The trunk and floor pans are completely solid. The only rust issues I could find was on the bottom of the front fenders where a metal patch was put in.
It looks to be mostly original paint with some scratches and dings as would be expected on a car of this age, but still shows out real nice. (see the photos).
That's about all I can think of, but if you think of something else get a hold of me. Otherwise if you want a nice old cruiser with a ton of miles still left in her, but a bid on her, the reserve is set low.
