1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass s

Selling my 3 Owner Oldsmobile 455Cutlass convertible. I purchased this years ago off of a buddy of mine who had the car for 35 years, and I have done a great amount of work to it. I am only selling because I have 2 other Oldsmobile's 442 W-30 cars that I drive more often. The car has the original 455motor that was rebuilt under 5000 miles ago, over 15 years ago. The work I have done is listed below. The car has 5 new tires under 200 miles, new $6800 paint job that was done less then a year ago that has never been washed or waxed yet, less then 200 miles ago.. All items listed are less then 200 miles, new front grills, new weather stipping doors, trunk weather strips, window felts, outside door handles, front and rear brakes, wheels cylinders, rear drums, exhaust that cost a $1,000, nos outside drivers mirror, carpets, front and rear seats redone, center console that just pulls out if you do not like it, trunk chrome, new deck lid, car was super solid no rust repairs, rear brake cables, all fluids changed out including rear posi unit, new rally dash gauges from year one with tach and clock, new gas tank and sending unit, new trunk mats, interior door panels are original, new kick panels ( driver side needs installed ), I am sure I am forgetting more.. The car was a factory special order paint in 72 the data tag has a - in under the paint code meaning special order. The car had cruise, I have the parts but not installed, am fm radio needs a speaker but radio does work, the bumpers are the originals, the tail lights are new.. Very nice car that you can show.. Needs very little details to be done.. Factory U code 455cars are hard to find and you wont see any Convertibles if you do find one. Small loan through my credit union, title will be sent when car is paid for in full... The top is the original and has2 torn spot on the side about3 to4 inches like they all do..Glass back window, did not do a top because I wanted to keep the original.. Also, new door sill plates.. Engine compartment I never detailed, was going to do it last.. Also, new Rochester carb, I have the original one also. Buy it now can be added and car can be sold at any time.

These are the original SS1 wheels that came on the car new, also has new trim rings.. I have 2 cans of the correct black wheel paint to paint the centers. They have never been touched up and still look good. I also have 3 cans of por 15 spray cans to paint the under carriage, I just never got around to it. The car has power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, am-fm, drivers chrome mirror that was a nos piece, front disc, and I added the rally gauge package. Again, the paint is fantastic on the car, the car is super straight with no bondo used.. The lower splash shield that is under the front bumper has a small crack when the body shop put it back together, cannot notice it, but I have a new one that goes with the car.

The car will sell.. Also, the chrome pipping around the seats and dash were replaced, you can tell I am a Iittle anal on how I try to fix everything, the front seat headrest chrome was also replaced.

Also has 4 new kyb shocks and all new cutlass emblems and Oldsmobile trunk letters.. New trunk mats and Oldsmobile floor mats..

Over $30,000 invested in this car, be very hard to find another one like it.. Real 455 car, rarer then a 442, paint and body are beautiful.. I have seen 350 convertible cars bring more then I am asking. Buy it now will be added for those that asked soon..
