1972 Oldsmobile 442 Cutlass

Up for sell is a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 442. Been owned by a senior man in his 60sthat mostly drove it on weekends to go golf. Car has been to cars & coffee & gets a lot ofcomplements. Let me start off by saying to the best of my knowledge yes I believe this is a real 442 model. But I am no expert in this field. The miles are showing 98,000 witch I do believe to be actual. The transmission is auto & was totally rebuilt less then 1k miles ago & yes we do have the receipts. The breaks & tires are also in great shape. So is all thedrive train all inperfect shape.
There is no leaks at all. It really does drive perfect does not smoke overheat or have any rattles orweird noises. Drives straight as a arrow even at 80 mph. The interior I believe was re done about 9 years ago. The paint is in good shape BUT it does have minor dents scratches & dings. So personal preference on how nice you want to make it. The VIN comes back to a V8 350 car WITCH means NOTHING cause the 442 was an optionto haveNOT VIN specific. The VIN will only show factory build info as what motor wasoriginal beforeANYOPTIONS where it was built atand if it was a coupe or convertible.
Pros
Does have the 455 Rocket engine. Don't know if number matching or not.Does have the Ram Air hood.Does have rear boxed suspension.Has the dual exhaust.All 442 options just don't have build sheet.Front floor pans were replaced don't know when.
Cons
Not sure if its a matching numbers car.Does have bondo cracking on right quarter panel. (Look at pic)Does have some rust on driver side rear wheel well. (Look at pic)
