I purchased this 1966 Oldsmobile Celebrity Sedan from the estate of the
original owner almost 10 years ago, & I am selling it due to health issues.
It is licensed and has been driven regularly.
This is an all original survivor with a 425 Super Rocket V8
that develops 365 horsepower, it runs and drives well.
A smooth riding car that steers effortlessly with only 64,549 Original miles
(Odometer shows 17,829 as speedometer was replaced in 2009 - Documentation provided).
The Turbo Hydra-Matic shifts smooth, however it will slip in passing gear.
It was like this when I purchased it and I have driven the car 24,00 miles
and 1/2 way across the country and never had a problem.
Car has no rust except for surface rust as seen in photos.
Paint is original but faded and thin. Rear bumper has a dent. Interior is complete, front seat shows age, wear and tears.
Rear Seat is very nice, headliner is very good.
Dash pad is nice but has 1 crack on the bottom side.
The accessory steering wheel is beautiful.
Within the last year I have replaced the entire front suspension using all
Moog parts and replaced the brake shoes, wheel cylinders, lines, etc. You are welcome and encouraged to come and make an inspection.
