1972 Oldsmobile 442 tribute.

This car is a clean and DRY example of early 70's muscle. The Cutlass/442 platform was know to create good handling cars with a spacious interior and modern options. They were refurred to a the "Luxury" muscle car.

This car has been kept dry for most of its life, and it shows. The metal is in outstanding condition, including rock solid original floor and trunk.The interior is also very clean for a 45 year old car.

FACTORY OPTIONS Include-

Power Disk Brakes, Power Steering and Seat. Inside adjustable mirrors. Power Windows,Tilt Steering Wheel. The AC and cruise are not hooked up.

MODERN HOT ROD UPGRADES-

442 fiberglass hood, shaved door handles, smoothed body with emblems removed, Hotchkis front and rear anti-sway bars. UMI chrome-molly tubular rear control arms with summit springs and coil over shocks. 2 1/2" performance exhaust with superflow muflers. Aluminum Radiator with electric fans, electric fuel pump.

ENGINE AND DRIVETRAIN UPGRADES-

Fresh 455 ci engine, edelbrock heads, roller rockers, coated headers, gear drive, HEI ignition, Th 400 "switch-pitch" trans, 10 bolt posi-track rear.

The car is a nice tribute to the high performance 442 as it has the upgrades to make it a true muscle car.

The car was stripped down and painted with base clear. The car shows well but it is a older paintjob and has some nicks and chips. This is a project car as it does needs minor items, like most old cars, but it is a turn key driver that can be enjoyed right now.

Payment is due with in 72hrs after the auction closes unles other arrangements are made before the auction closes. Bank wire transfer for payment as I have done that in the past and it is safe. Title transferred and car released upon funds clearing. I can help load the car for shipping but I would rather the buyer picks the car up in person.
