*** I was informed by a viewer today that this is a Y76 Special Edition Car that Oldsmobile made as a marketing campaign. There were 14,522 made in 1977. ***

I purchased this car last year on a whim. I had one of these when i was a kid and wanted another one, so i searched and found one in excellent shape. The previous owner told me it was all original. The paint is a little faded and the previous owner burned the paint on some corners with a buffer, there are also swirl marks in the paint. So that being said the paint is a decent 10 footer. The car needs new exhaust pipe installed, the current is rusted. If i get time to drive over to the exhaust shop, ill have that done. The car runs and drives great, I installed 4 new shocks recently. That is all I've done to the car. The car starts right up, transmission shifts smooth, and glides down the highway. I do have a Oldsmobile dealers service manual that will be included in the sale of the car. The car has small signs of rust around the top. Should be easily repairable if a guy was going to paint it. The previous owner cut the hood latch pull cable so its sticking out of the front grill to be able to open the hood. I have purchased a new one that will be included in the sale of the car but I have not installed it yet. I am trying to be as upfront about everything on the car i have nothing to hide, its a good old car. If there are any dings in the car i have overlooked them as they must be small. Its really straight. All the lights work, If you would like more pics or anything feel free to call me. The rear bumper filler pieces are there but may be cracked or scuffed from previous owner buffing.
