1956 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight

Up for sale is this 1956 olds holiday 98 4 door hard top. This is a rust free Nevada car. I bought this car last fall as we buy many classics and work on them over the winter to get them road worthy for the summer. Well it was a long winter and this one we never got to. The person I got it from told me it needed a rear end which came with the car and is still in the trunk. The change is pretty strait forward and easy to do. We had the car shipped from Nevada and its in one of my garages right now and can stay there until someone makes arrangements for shipping or we can help you arrange shipping. The prior owner had the car running on a gas can hanging under the hood. we did the same put a battery in and it fired right up. we filled it with trans fluid and drove it onto our lift to ck it out. The engine runs perfect. It started right up with no noises and sounded great. the trans was slow to move at first and may need a rebuild or service but it did drive. The power brakes worked and so did the power steering. the power windows all rolled up and down last year but were very slow i am sure they will need to be cleaned. The body is Nice with no Rot there is No rot in the floors. rockers. fenders. quarters. roof. trunk. trunk lid. hood! there is a very little bit of surface rust but thats it!
