Factory Sport Truck with power windows, power door locks, tilt steering, Nissan sport steering wheel, deluxe gauges, sunroof, 5 speed, working R12 air conditioning, sliding rear window, and in my opinion the best color combo. The truck was found here in Merced sitting behind the owners house parked for close to 20 years. The truck was originally sold here at Merced Datsun and has been in town it's entire life. The previous owner was a school teacher who drove it daily until parking it when water began to leak out of the heater core area. After purchasing the truck I then began to rebuild and replace everything needed to make it a dependable daily driver again and get it to where I wouldn't hesitate to jump in and drive it across the country. I own a shop and do mechanical work myself so I have plenty of receipts and countless hours into the preservation of this 80's classic. Original interior and mostly original paint with no accidents or rust ever. The hood and camper shell were repainted as the paint/clear coat began to wear through. Truck has some minor dings, chips, and brush touch ups.Work within the last 5k miles include....- All new brakes: wheel cylinders, calipers, hoses, shoes, pads, master cylinder, fluid flush and fill. - 5 new tires, including matching spare alloy mounted in stock location.- All front and rear wheel bearings and axle seals. - All fluids flushed and replaced with fresh correct fluids.- Weber DGEV carb and adapter installed.- Full tune up items including oil changes, air/oil filter, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, coils, and more.- Head pressure tested, machined, cleaned, new valve stem seals installed, and head gasket replaced along with full head gasket kit components installed.- Timing chain and components replaced.- New alternator along with all Vbelts.- Ball joints, shocks, suspension bushings.- Tie rods, center link, idler arm, and alignment.- Radiator hoses, thermostat, radiator cap, overflow tank. - Clutch kit, flywheel, clutch master, clutch slave, clutch fork boot, main/crankshaft seal, and transmission input/output seals. - Motor and transmission mounts- Upgraded Hella H4/H1 euro style headlights with LED bulbs.- New AGM battery.- Fuel tank removed and cleaned with new filters installed and changed a few times to make sure there was no debris remaining. - Driveline center support replaced and Ujoints greased. - New door seals and window felts installed along with a new front windshield and seal installed by a local glass company. - New mufler, resonator in place of catalytic convertor, and tail pipe.- Bluetooth stereo system with Mic for hands free, all new front and rear upgraded speakers, and bass speaker with amp mounted on rear floor. Original rear jump seats were removed so I could have more room, but they are included with the sale and are in great condition. - Plenty of other parts installed as well that I am overlooking at this time. Everything on the truck works as it should with the exception of the heater as I never got around to fixing it. It possibly needs a heater core or plastic fittings/hoses around the heater core repaired/replaced.This is a great looking, driving, and dependable truck that gets plenty of attention and respect. There just aren't many like this out there anymore and really is a joy to own. I just don't use it as much as it deserves and it's time to pass it on to someone else to enjoy. When the Weber carb was installed the EGR was removed along with the catalytic convertor. It is currently on Non Op status with no back fees. Clear California title, two sets of keys, original owners manuals, some extra parts, a clean Carfax report, and receipts from over the years are included with the sale. Personalized CA license plates, front and rear dealer license plate frames, key chains, and Del Monte Forest badge on the grille are not included with the sale and will be removed prior to purchase.
