1987 Nissan 300ZX Manual Coupe T-Tops in Gold. This is a very original car that has never been in an accident and is perfectly straight with the original interior in really good shape as well as the exterior and paint. I bought this back in April from the family of the longtime owner that had unfortunately passed away. I was surprised to see how good of condition the interior and seat’s were especially the drivers side edge of the seat that is always worn on these but this seat is perfect, they told me he was 5’5” and weighed 130 pounds wet so that probably helped in keeping the drivers seat so nice and the wife said he almost always drove it alone the original passengers seat looks new. Anyway I bought this with intentions of keeping it and doing a handful of things to it but have had some personal things change so amunfortunately going to let it go. I had the same car in college in 1990 and wanted to relive it. I looked for awhile for the right one and this one fit the bill for what I was looking for a good solid base with somewhat low miles, manual transmission that drove as it should and was not rusted out and original and this car checked all the boxes. The car drives and shifts perfect and only has 124k miles on it, engine is really smooth as well as the transmission. Feels like both are really tight and well taken care of. I also got a stack of receipts through the years or various things that the previous owner has done mainlymaintenance records through the years. I actually bought this car 1000 miles from me flew in and the owners picked me up at the airport just outside of Chicago and I drove it home to Wilmington NC. On the plane I was second guessing my spontaneous decision of my first drive in it being 1000 miles and it making it, well it drove beyond my expectations and it ended up being a really fun trip that I will alway remember and the car was exactly what they said it was. I was very pleased. I mentioned the interior being nice the dash is also in great shape with no cracks, the door panels look great, the carpet is great (faded in the rear section) All the gauges except the rpm gauge seem to work as they should, tires look good and have plenty of miles left in them and the original wheels are in good shape with no chips or road rash at all that I see. The original paint and body are both in very good shape no dent’s at all to mention and the paint still looks good. Couple of spots in the clear showing wear on the top around the t-tops and the door mirrors have cracks on the edges on the plastic thepassenger door one is worse than the driver side is minimal. They both work perfectly as far as the electric movement switches. The passenger door does not open and I did not take off the door panel to look at it but it should be a easy fix, also the shocks on the hood lid need to be replaced and the centercounsel compartment latch is broken but the top is in niceshape. I received one original key with it the wife could not find his other key ring that had a spare key and the T-Top key on it. All I have done to it is put in a new sealed battery in it and have changed all the fluids in it and have driven and enjoyed it. I was really hoping to do a few things to it and keep it for a long time butunfortunately it was not good timing for me. This is a very nice car that needs just a handful of things to make it a very nice car. Please view all of the photos very carefully for the exact condition.
