Description:

1955 Nash

Nash METRO 1955. I obtained this car from a friend who could no longer drive a stick shift at 86 years old. My wife always said she loved these little guys, so I bought it for her as a surprise for her 75th. I shipped this car to Metropolitan Parts and Service in Hartleton Pa.( the premier shop for all Metros in the world) where it spent a year being refurbished. I was running out of time so it was shipped back with a few minor things to be done. But, life hands you surprises, and my wife is now unable to drive a stick shift either. So, here it is, up for sale. I have been an Ebay seller with a 100% positive rating for about 23 years with only ONE INVALID complaint from a scammer. Feel free to ask any questions or make an offer. I have over 16k invested in the refurbishment, so you can see I've already lowered my price. On checking the internet, I have noticed the same vehicle selling for around $20-25k.
THE GOOD: NEW carpet, new Hounds tooth seat interior, new roof liner, new glass where neede, seat belts, master cyl, brakes, wheel cy, water pump, weather striping, starter, floor sealant, clutch assembly, exhaust system, numerous minute items such as small chrome bolts, seals, hood prop, choke cable, oil filter adapter, spacers, radio, ignition switch, window weather striping, etc,etc
THE BAD: speedometer not functioning, radio is intermittent, left rear shock or mount is noisy when going over bumps.
THE UGLY: Panel under front bumper has non sharp bend (see picture). According to my friend it was caught on a parking block when backing up. Body shop says its minor and can be pushed back for around $200. No paint needed.

I know, the heading states no reserve. That's my mistake. But E-bay will not allow me to change it because there are bids. I apologize in advance.
