1951 Nash Ambassador Super

A lot to like about this old girl. A fun driver. Runs and drives very well. Overhead valve six with a stick and overdrive. Currently licensed and insured and driven regularly. Reclining front seat makes into a bed (wink wink*) Has nicks and scratches in the paint, the chrome is original and has lost some of its shine. Lots of recent maintenence has been done.
All new brakes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brakes shoes, hoses.
4 new Cooper tires.
bottom of the car was power washed.
The torque tube rear axle was removed, new u joint, repacked carrier bearing, replaced rear axle bearing.
There was rust out in the drivers front floor, it has been cut out and new metal welded in. Nice job.
Engine oil leak repaired.
All fluids changed.
New mufflerOlder repaint.Needs a new tail pipe.
All the glass is good.
everything works except the gas gauge, it quit when the bottom was power washed.
doors lock and unlock
horn works
radio works
vaccum wipers work
heater works great
all lights and turn signals work
engine has good oil pressure, is smooth and does not smoke or have oil blow by.
does not overheat.
Over drive works great.
stops on a dime.
The engine was rebuilt in the 80's. The receipt is in the glove box.
Some NOS parts, 2 bumper guards, the hood badge and turn signal stock with flashing tip.
This old girl drives nicely on the freeway at 65- 70.
I have only owned this car since last October. Have driven it several times on the freeway from my shop to my home 15 miles each way. Never any problems.
I obviously can't supply any type of warranty so the vehicle is sold as is.
