1938 Nash Lafayette Sedan. Very nice older restoration. Believed to be completed around 1982 due to a paint label found in the car, ee photos. Car is exceptionally clean and rust free for its age. The paint is an old lacquer that is cracking and hard to show in photographs. There is some paint damage on both right side fenders visible in the photos. Ten feet away it is beautiful. It doesn't take a car person long to figure out much time was spent on this car. The undercarriage is very clean. Wiring is correct type and neat. Weatherstripping and rubbers seals are in condition, ssumed replaced with restoration. All the lights function as they should. Fuel gauge and speedometer do not work. Other gauges work properly. Oil pressure can be seen in photo of the dash with vehicle running. Engine runs great, il was just changed. The mechanical fuel pump was previously replaced with an electric unit mounted at the rear.Clutch and transmission work smoothly. Tires are B.F. Goodrich and in good condition. The brakes were recently bled and are working well. It is a good driving car with a dated and aged restoration. It can be driven as it is or easily brought back up to a high level.
