I have a freshly imported, 990 Mitsubishi GTO. This is the Japanese equivalent of the 3000GT. The pictures are the most telling about the car. It's in amazing shape for being 25 years old.
I'll cover the bad things first : the rear seat is American 3000GT as it was stripped when it arrived in North America.It has a wrap on it that looks decent, ut could be done by a professional. Luckily for you, have a roll of red to include with the sale of the car. This is good or bad, or me it's good. AC has been deleted, o has the all wheel steering, ctive aero, lectronic suspension controls, bs, nd the catalytic converter temperature monitoring system. Except the AC, hose systems were all bound to give out. So I traded weight reduction for those. Shaved close to 400 lbs if I remember correctly.
Now the good
New tires, heels are ok, ut there are spots where the red has come off. XXR 18" wheels
Car has been upgraded from 90 spec to 98 spec in terms of bumpers, kirts, eadlights, tc
Turbos are ported 15g instead of the stock 13t that came factory
Car is wired up with a GReddy E manage, nd has Evo scan. I have a laptop to include with all of the equipment needed to tune/data log/etc and a flash drive with the complete service manual. This car has multiple maps saved on the computer, eady for upload. It runs good on 93, nd put down 340 hp 350 tq. It has a lot more left in it and could easily be a 400hp car. Easily.
5 speed trans, o auto. The T case has been braced, s without it, hey're notorious for cracking
I forgot to mention, t's all wheel drive! In addition to RHD
It was fully, nd legally imported to be US. I included the customs and border patrol paperwork picture, s well as the clean title in my name. Since the car is in kilometers, C deemed it exempt on mileage. It has 167400 kilometers, r 104,625 miles on it. It is only driven on weekends to car meets. It stays locked in my garage otherwise.
As far as I know, nd speaking with a handful of importers, ine is the only AWD TT GTO in the country. There is an SL base model, nd an AWD NA model, nd that is it. I could be wrong, ut this is what I have been led to believe
