1994 Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear Exceed 1

This 1994 Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear has been legally imported from Japan and is in excellent condition with only 57,500 KM / 35,700 Miles on the odometer. It is ready to enjoy in its current state or as a perfect start to your camper or adventure van project!

This Delica is currently registered in Vermont with up-to-date VT state inspection. Vehicle will come with transferable registration which can be used to obtain a title in any state. Original import documents are also included (stamped Customs Entry Summary, EPA, DOT, Export Certificate, etc.)
This particular L400 is anExceed 1trim, equipped with a standard wheel base with a low roof. It is powered by a 2.5L 4D56 Turbo Intercooled Diesel engine which sends power to the rear wheels via a column-shifted 5-speed manual transmission. Both the engine and transmission are in excellent condition, with the engine providing smooth power across all 5 gears without any grinds or pop-outs. I have recently taken this on a 600-mile road trip up to New England without any issues whatsoever. Suspension is in great condition with no leaking shocks. Recent service includes a new battery, oil+filter change with Rotella T4, and replacement V-Belts.

Exterior:

The exterior of this Delica Exceed is also in excellent condition with very minor dents and scratches on the sheet metal. There are two minor dents on the rear cargo hatch that can be removed via PDR. There is paint peeling on the intercooler scoop, but paint is otherwise all original and shines bright after being treated to a one-step paint correction using Menzerna polish and sealant. There are two minor scratches on the roof near the driver door and rear sliding door on the roof trim - likely from a roof-mounted beacon light bar used by the previous owner. All exterior lighting including headlights and parking lights are operable. This Delica is in otherwise excellent condition for a 25-year old car.
The OEM 14” steel wheels and hubcaps have been upgraded with 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer OEM 16” Alloy wheels with Cooper 205/60R16 tires. Original steel wheels and hubcaps are included with sale. The front two wheels have been custom machined to clear the L400’s front hubs.

Interior:

This Delica is configured as a passenger van which seats up to 8 across its three rows. The middle row can swivel 180 degrees to face the van’s single sliding door, third row occupants, or recline along the front seats to create a bed for its occupants. The third row seats also recline, giving them the ability to fold flat or fold up to increase cargo room. The lace seat covers from the previous owner in Japan are in excellent condition as are the seats themselves with no rips or major stains. A Kenwood touchscreen double-DIN stereo with iPod connectivity, Bluetooth, and CD/DVD is currently installed. All four speakers within the vehicle function as they should. Both front and rear A/C controls are functional and all vents blow ice cold into the forward and rear cabins. The heat works as well. Power windows, mirrors, and locks round out the convenience features of this van and operate as expected.
