1985 Austin Mini Cooper - Wide Body, 1275, Weber Carb, Left Hand Drive

1982 Mini Classic Mini

For sale I have a 1985 custom wide body Mini Cooper with a 1275cc engine. This car was built by a shop in Japan and was featured in a magazine many moons ago under the heading "Record Monza". This is registered in Canada but eligible for importation to the U.S, I am the sole owner of the vehicle and have all paperwork. I can ship anywhere in North America, ideally the new owner would enter Canada and import the car personally (cheaper and easier) but I can assist with customs if required.
This is a 30The body isnt in perfect condition There is some minor cracking at the seams of the wide body, minor fix for someone who knows bodywork. Paint is good shape overall (I have the paint code). The wheels are ultra rare 10" - 3 piece Rays racing wheels.
The interior features an Innocenti dash board which is a rare find these days.
The mechanical side of things, this car did need some work when it arrived. I replaced everything listed with brand new parts.... Fluids changed, Tune up and carb adjustment (plugs, wires, cap, rotor etc), rear brakes & wheel cylinders, steering rack and tie rods, pre-verto clutch assembly, clutch slave cylinder, heater control valve, and fixed a couple oil leaks
Performance wise the 1275cc engine has a Weber carb, straight cut gear box, and I am leaning towards it having a mild cam but cant say for sure... although it still has 1.3 rockers. It runs extremely strong, doesnt burn oil and loves going through the gears.~ This vehicle is located in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. 1 Hour from the U.S. Border...
