I bought this car about 4 years ago, after searching for an original red mini with no rust for over 3 years.
The car was completely stripped down to the factory primer, the interior gutted in its entirety, all windows and doors removed and confirmed to be COMPLETELY RUST FREE!! There have never been any rust patch panels in this car at all!!! VERY UNUSUAL FOR A MINI!!
I am a professional body man and this is my baby that I carefully painted with a flawless red color, the roof is white with a UNION JACK VINYL APLIQUE' that you can peel off if it is not your thing.
The interior front and rear seats are custom stitched in a very tasteful color combination of two tone grey with red piping to match the car, as are the door panels, new carpet and headliner installed. New wheel well fender flares applied. New exhaust system.
New rubber seals for doors, trunk, bonnet, trunk flip out side windows installed.
New tires and custom rims placed for that just so look!!
The front light bar is for show I have not hooked up the lights but about two hours of work can get them to work.
A British mechanic friend of mine looked over the engine, transmission, brakes and wiring and remarkably little was needed. ALL ITEMS WORK AS THEY SHOULD!!! She starts immediately in cold or hot weather and drives just GREAT!!! I would not hesitate to take this car anywhere!
