MGB Limited Edition Information:
Any MGB built and manufactured in the year 1980 or after January 1980 by BL Cars LTD England. This car was built on 4/1980 after 500,000 MGB completed for (the North. American spec. LE roadster Tour MGB's ) in January 1980.
This MGB falls under the run out editions which the VIN# built number ends with 518,492 Limited Editions (LE).
Note: Most people only think the Cars that was produced for UK market only and sold as 1981 model car are (LE). The have the same build specification as the 1980 North America (NA) (LE) cars except roadsters are painted metallic bronze with gold striping and GT’s are painted metallic silver with silver striping. These LE cars for the UK market had MG logos with red background and silver letters.
About 420 roadsters and 580 GT’s were built and serial numbers are interspersed with normal production cars.
