1972 MG Midget

I'm relisting this car due to the previous winning bidder not following through with the deposit. Please don't bid if you're not ready to transact, thanks.
This is a 1972 RWA Midget that I acquired from a fellow member of the Nashville British Car Club last year. Health issues caused him not to complete the project and I'm assisting him in finding the car a new home.
The car is a solid rolling shell with much work already done and many new parts already installed. There is no rust in the "A" pillars, the floors and battery box floor have been repaired already. The following parts are new, alternator, brake and clutch hydraulics, clutch kit, fuel tank, and cross flow radiator. I have receipts for many of these items. The seats have also been rebuilt with a new upholstery kit from Victoria British.
The engine was also rebuilt, over 10 years ago, and has never run. At that time the carbs were rebuilt, gearbox resealed, and new clutch kit installed. I have some pictures of this work being done, along with general shots of the early days of this restoration. Unfortunately, the engine is now stuck. I have soaked it, and gently rocked the car in gear, but it's still stuck. I would recommend pulling the head to inspect.
I would say the car is 90% plus complete, and I have a shed full of Midget parts that we can look through for anything not pictured. There is another box not pictured with smaller parts and many nuts and bolts. I took the front fenders off to check on the condition of the inner lower fenders and "A" post, both are solid. Hardware for re-mounting the fenders is new and bagged.
The selling price includes free delivery within 100 miles of zip code 37034. If you need delivery further than this, please contact me for a shipping quote BEFORE you bid. Additional shipping expense must be paid in cash.
There is a lot of value here, with many new parts and thousands already spent. Solid round wheel arch bodies are not common. If you have the time, space, and inclination, this is a very viable candidate for completion. Thanks for reading this far! Ask questions, ask for more pictures, no reserve, thank you!
