1966 MG Midget

Hard to find 1966 MG midget. I have owned this 1966 MG Midget Mk11 for 31 years. It went through an extensive “concours like” restoration that was completed in the mid-2000s (but no concours certification). The car was stripped to a bare metal shell and had a complete restoration of all parts undertaken. Original parts were carefully restored, and new replacement parts were selected as needed to restore the car that is accurate to the day it left the factory. The only changes were a conversion from positive earth to negative earth, electronic ignition and the engine converted to run on unleaded fuel.
The engine and transmission were rebuilt. Finished in British Racing Green and equipped with a black convertible top over a black vinyl interior. The wire wheels are original. The MG comes with a written vehicle history, original service records, restoration receipts, a flash drive with over 200 restoration photos, the owner's and shop manuals, a car cover, and a clear Arizona title. There is even the original sales receipt and the original copper headed mallet for removing the wheels.
The bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl with white piping. Features include manual brakes, steering, and windows; the original three-spoke steering wheel with a black grip; a wood shift knob; and a working AM radio.
This MG was restored by Quality Coaches, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 2018 the MG was shipped to Arizona and has been maintained by British Car Service of Tucson. In December 2022, the twin carburetors were rebuilt; the distributor cap, rotor, and plug wires were replaced; the fuel lines were re-hosed; the fuel pump. There is just under 5K miles on the new restoration. Runs and drives greatCan help with shipping if necessary.
