Solid Rust Free California 1973 MGB Roadster
1973 MG MGB
Solid rust free California car.
1973 MGB roadster chrome bumper
4cyl, dual SU carbs, manual trans
wire wheels with knock offs (two knock off tools included)
All gauges work - which is crazy for an MGLights, turn signals, wipers, and horn all workGood driver, excellent oil pressure and clutchStarts up every time, no exhaust smokeExcellent oil pressureDoesn't over heat - had an extra electric fan installed
Has earlier side draft SU HS4 carbs on it which they say are easier to tune, but those that know SU carbs know the terms SU and "easy to tune" don't typically go together. Check out the video of driving and it is great to work through the gears.
Red exterior which is in great shape, some scratches and chips. NO RUST NO BUBBLING
Passenger fender has a place (has black plug currently) to mount a fender mirror (mirror included) I removed the fender mirror since it also has a passenger door mirror.
Exterior chrome is in fantastic condition, bumpers have no dings or dents. Grill is in excellent condition and straight although not a '73 grill, believe it's a late 60's style. Rear turn signals lenses are in great condition and also the earlier style for 62-69 which most like more than the later style
Top is in awesome shape, no rips or tears, rear plastic windows are clear.
All glass in excellent condition, no chips, no cracks or delaminating

I believe it has the original "red" interior, the seat pattern does match what was offered in 1973Seats are in excellent condition, no rips, no seam separationCarpet showing some ageDoor panels are in great shape no tears or warping
Could use exhaust replacement. Currently only running the original front muffler, Stainless systems seem to be on backorder everywhere I call.
If I kept it I planned to swap out the interior for a warm biscuit color or black, get a stainless exhaust system, and either rebuild the SU carbs or do a weber conversion.
From what I researched there are some easy engine swaps, Ford 302, Rover v8, miata 4cyl.
Luckily parts for MGs are easy to get and reasonable.
Car is sold as is with no warranty written or implied
