1968 MG MGB GT for sale
1968 MG MGB
For sale AS-IS so please ask questions if you have any. This is a 1968 MGB GT with a GM 2.8L V6 (from a late 1980s Firebird, mild Edelbrock cam) and a Borg Warner T5 World Class transmission (from a 1987 IROC Z28). Tranny has only ten miles on it since it was rebuilt and is worth $800-$1000 by itself, so if you plan to restore her to original condition you can certainlymake a good chunk of money back from selling the T5. Rear end is a pre-68 banjo-type that originally had hubs for wire wheels, but the axles were tapped by previous owner to mount 4-bolt steel wheels. He also put a larger fuel tank in her with a side filler on the right rear. She's complete minus some interior pieces, but hasn't run for 6 years. She has a little rust in the usual British spots; rocker panels and fender seams. Most definitelya project car and she will need a THOROUGH going over before she's anywhere close to road worthy again, so please don't think you can throw a battery in and "off you go!"
I can post more pictures, just let me know what you'd like to see.
Has a clean California title.
I'm in Phoenix, AZ and home most of the time. You can pick her up anytime or arrangefor shipping, but I have no way to bring her to you. If you can't get her right away that's fine, she's safe here until you're able to pick her up or ship her, I would still need full payment within the 7 day period though.
Thank you,-Allan
