1978 MG Midget. Nice, Solid, Low Mileage Driver
1978 MG Midget
This is a nice, solid, low mileage little MG Midget. I drive this weekly running errands when the sun shines and it is a lot of fun.
Recent (this summer 2023) lube, oil and filter. New fuel filter. Tires rotated and balanced. New rubber boots on steering rack.
Horn (ahhhoooga), parking brake, lights, tachometer and other gauges, wipers all work as they should. Runs, stops, shifts, handles and drives very well. It is a pleasure to drive. The top is in great shape and it goes up and down nicely by hand.
82,206 is the original mileage.
New (issued 10/06/2023), clean, State of Maine title in my name. Currently registered in Maine in my name. Maine State safety inspection sticker good until 7/24. Transfer of ownership to you and your registering it should be a breeze. I will also provide a notarized bill of sale and a state of Maine affidavit of sale.
The only thing I would address if I were keeping it is that it needs to be buffed and waxed. The red paint is starting to fade.

Cash at pick up is best. I also accept US Postal (you go to the post office to get them) money orders. I can accept a bank transfer but I will not release the car until the funds have officially cleared, usually clears in two weeks or less. PayPal may be an option too if sent as if to Friends and Family.
