Swapped in Chevy 4 cylinder and 4 speed trans (I believe it to be a Chevette engine); rebuilt Carter carb and new plugs. Starts runs, drives and stops. Front discs. Includes period-correct MGA 1500 engine and 4 speed trans. 1500 engine likely needs freshening up prior to installation. Seats are not original, nor are the engine instruments, dash, rear bumper and I’m sure other stuff. The fender welting has been removed, filled and painted. The doors open electrically with the press of a button via door lock actuators. Pretty neat! The windshield wipers are inoperative. The speedometer works. Battery condition gauge and temp gauge are questionable. Fuel gauge reads but I’m not sure how accurate it is (nor do I intend to find out!)
