Description:
1975 MG MGB
This car has been driven across the country on many vacations. Runs smooth and safe at highway speeds. The factory overdrive makes a huge difference. All lights, horn, and gauges work. Engine has been rebuilt. With .40 over pistons and reground cam.Has Weber 2 barrel carb. exhaust header. New front brake calipers, disks, and rotors just last year.Shortened shifter for quick throws. American racing wheels. Thick leather steering wheel.Front and rear sway bars. Tube style rear shocks. Oversize Falken radial tires. Good condition top with zip down rear window.Tonnoe cover to close driving compartment for shopping or lunch stops when you don't want to raise the top.Factory luggage rack used to bungee on those folding lawn chairs for that summer picnic.Fog lights. And 150Watt stereo with 6x9s in trunk so you can hear your tunes with the top down.Seats are in excellent condition and adjust. Even the glove box and door keys work.Underneath the car is solid and the sills are all intact. This is important to the integrity of a near 50 year old British sports car.And the Blue metallic paint is an eyecatcher along with the custom rims. People talk with me wherever I park it.If you know about MG's they're not a muscle car, but this can keep up with a Porsche or Camaro in the turns and that's where the enjoyment of driving is for any vintage sports car. Does it have any flaws in the paint? A few, it's a weekend driver.Mileage means nothing on old British cars. It's better to drive and keep them fixed then to let them sit and rot.So the 25k is just what is showing now on odometer. It's more but condition is everything in buying a classic driver. At the British car shows it usually takes a second or third place to originality-correct trailer Queens. And I'm always wearing a smile easily doing 70mph on the highway with overdrive as other car people wave and give a Thumbs up. And you can leave it in a parking lot and not have to worry like you would with any Jag, or a Austin Healey. Why am I selling? Too many other toys, MG's motorcycles, etc.For the affordability, available parts, and Nationwide clubs that support you, it's hard to find a better classic British driving experience.Vehicle Details:
