1979 MG MGB MK IV. The Good. Rust free California car, tires at 90%, new Minilite alloy wheels from England, recent oil, filter, trans, and differential flush and replacement. Brake system flushed and new hoses, rotors, pads and calipers installed. Fuel system and tank flushed, new fuel pump, and rebuild carb installed. Seats reupholstered including drivers side bottom straps.The electrical system works except the tach. is slow and the 4 way flasher is wonky. New battery.The PO replaced the ugly rubber bumper with a retro chrome kit.The top is in excellent shape with as new windowsConvertible hardtop and tonneau cover in good shapeStarts cold on second or third 4 second crank. Runs, drives, and stops well.
The BadRadio head piece and speaker covers missingPaint job is a 15 footer with some peeling clear coat and small dings and scratches as expected in fourth three yearfourty year old car.The car passed smog six months ago but now failed a pre check. Might need a cat or the carbchecked. Great deal for a non California buyer.
