Description:
1938 MG 1.5 VA tourer
Lovely museum car which has been off the road for 25 years and is entirely original excepting one repaint done in 1976 by its very last owner prior to museum ownership. Current museum ownership since 1995 (so only two owners over the last 50+ years).Car was a Florida car for many years before going to a museum which stored it carefully in a climate controlled environment to present day.
The car is very original with original engine, transmission, frame and body. All of the wood appears original as well. The car is totally rust free and has no accident history or repairs. The paint is decent (40+ years old) and shows nicely. Everything else seems to be original and in good condition.
All of the instruments are original and very nice. The seats are in very good condition. The car has what looks to be a very nice original tan cloth top.
This car will make a wonderful sporting addition to anyones collection. I have lots of pictures for any interested party. Inspections welcomed.
This car is exceptionally rare as only approximately 2500 VA's over several body styles were built. Highly desirable prewar MG.
