PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST...UPDATE: ( Installed a new Coil )..Made a Big Difference...I have a 1976 MG Midget Special Super Cool TRUE Survivor car in Great condition...SURVIVOR MEANING IT WILL ONLY LOOK THIS WAY ONCE..UNRESTORED...Been sitting for 5 years...1500cc 4 Cylinder with 4 speed Manual Trans...Odometer reads 61,000+....Original Paint is faded BUT Body is solid...Car has always been in Oregon until now in southeastern Washington...BONUS; Have original factory dealer window sticker from oregon..If your interested ask to see a picture of the window sticker...Also Notice on the second to last photo the New exhaust Tip and the Original Liscense plate cover from the Original Dealership where it was purchased New...Which is also On the Original Window sticker...I am only the 3rd owner as the previous owner had not had it for very long...He did not know how to work on it...Carberator could use a rebuild but works fine...Just havnt done that yet...Absolutely solid riding car...No rattles or shakes or shimmeys...No Clunks or clinks on bumps...Starts right up and goes...4 speed gearbox feels tight...Shifts solid and sounds good...I upgraded the Original Steering wheel with a Smaller diameter Grant but still have the original wheel...The Original was a bit to big for me...All the electronics and Gauges work EXCEPT the oil pressure gauge which I researched and usually stops working because of its design...But can be rebuilt...However I checked oil pressure with an external gauge and reads 40 to 50 Lbs...Water Temp gauge works...Even the fasten seat belt light and buzzer works...Radio plays as well...Has small speaker...Sounds OK...Doors shut tight and solid...Needs a new top...The top is all there but could use a new one or just the plastic window pieces replaced...New tops are not that expensive...The Top frame is solid...All rubber and felt is nice...However this is a nice Sunny day car...Has a BRAND NEW landau top that covers and snaps in place when top is down...Tires are Excellent almost New...Checked the entire Brake system..Which Look New...Made some adjustments...Bled the system and Brakes work Good...Transmission and Clutch feels Great and shifts solid...I installed a complete New exhaust system From a New exhaust Header, all new pipe back to a glasspack style muffler out the back with a stinger chrome tip...Pictures show it at the shop...Original manifold was cracked and pipes were small diameter and restrictive...Please notice how nice and clean and solid everything is...Sounds good too...LIKE A SPORTS CAR...The interior is as good as the Pictures represent...The seats are Original and in Great Condition...They are in the Very Sexy Camel Color...Very British..Comfy and solid too...The carpet could use replaced but Is all there and could use it as is...Door panels are Great...Dash is Beautiful Perfect...Courtesy light even works...Has 3 windshield wipers and Works...Has a luggage Rack...Original jack and bag...Regular Size Spare tire with Same Style Rim...The trunk area looks amazing...Went through the whole car and fixed the little stuff like a couple of missing snaps for the top...
