This very solid,honest MGTF hails from the Bobby Gunther collection.The car is largely a one owner car.The car was bought new by Bobby's brother, when it came time to part with it Bobby bought the car and added it to his already large collection of British cars.We obtained a number of cars from the collection.The most attractive part of this car is that it took very little to get the car up and running from its slumber.What a treat this car is to experience the start up of a sewing machine smooth MG engine.One that starts immediately upon request and sits with an idle and sound that only these little T series cars have when well tuned.
I will hesitate to sell to any party that will have intent of restoring the car.The car is full of patina that only age and time can produce.The paint brings to mind the look of a well worn leather Bomber Jacket,full of character that only finish of 64 years can produce.Shame on anyone that would make an attempt to change the character of this car.The pictures do not reveal the true warmth and character the car has.EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE loves the look and sound this well preserved car exudes.
The car is tight to drive,a review of the undercarriages shows front suspension work has been performed.The suspension is tight.The transmission is tight with perfect click click when shifting.Brakes stop accurately and smoothly.
The top and side curtains are new,car comes with a new matching tonneau.The car comes with a new interior and carpet kit.
