You don't see too many classic cars in this condition, especially with 13,000original miles.You can find MG Midget's in this condition for around $15,000 but, they usually have50, 60 70,000 miles on the odometer.The family that owned this car bought it for the wife. The weather back east only permittedher to drive a couple of months out of the year. From sitting for long periods of time theengine seals dried up. (which is very common on these MG's) When she saw the first dripof oil she spent over $5,000 in mechanical work i.e. over $3,000 to completely removeand reseal the motor. $2000 for a new clutch and pressure plate. Another several hundredon new rack and pinion gear, new brakes and more.

The underside of this car is as dry as a bone.
The paint is very nice except the top of the left front fender. It was discolored due to ascratch that was over-buffed. I was told that a good Color-Sanding would bring out thepaint beautifully but might not hide the tiny Angel-Hair cracks.This car just passed California's STRICT smog test and is registered in California.The N.A.D.A. Classic car guide shows these cars to be worth $5,000 in rough conditionto $21,000 in Prime conditionThe car is based in Southern California and is available for inspection anytime.
