Description:

1970 MG MGB Conv

Up for auction is a driver 1970 MGB with factory wire wheels and this is also the sought after split rear bumper model. My ownership time is short soI will make every effort to detail everything about the car as I know it so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. This is you chance to get running and driving MGB way the heck below the current market value. Car is fairly priced but I'm open to offers. Lost Title and sold on Bill of Sale.
Mechanical s:The car runs and drives good but I've only driven her around the block a few times. Car starts right up with no issues even after sitting for days. Good brake and clutch peddle. Holds good oil pressure at around 65 lbs. replaced items include the new fuel pump, alternator, fan belt, starter motor and the clutch master cylinder. The Weber carburetor and intake manifold are fairly new so it might need some tweaking.
Gauges:All gauges are correct "Smith" brand and appear to be in working order at this time..
Electrical's :Seems to be in ok condition with most off the exterior lights working, wipers work, fan works, horn works and the hazard switch works.
Exterior:As you can see she needs exterior restoration. Good bumpers, nice grill and wire wheels. Yes the Parish hard top comes with the car ( sorry no soft top ).
Interior:In pretty decent shape for a 48 year old car. Yes the seats need to recovered but a new set of covers comes with the sale along with a complete high quality carpet kit with felt padding and heat insulation kit. Note: as you can see the floor pans where replaced at some point and are the correct Moss brand.
