Prior to its official launch at Frankfurt, hree aluminum-bodied prototypes were entered at Le Mans. As a result, he MGA was launched with a solid competition pedigree, nsuring its acceptance in the market and the United States in particular, here the bulk of production was destined.
Chassis No. HMA4363737 was completed February 23-24, 959 and dispatched one day later as a LHD, orth American Export equipped with wire wheels, eater, djustable steering column and windscreen washers. The spectacular example offered here has benefited from an exceptionally thorough restoration from 2/16/2006 - 2/7/2007 by specialist Landers Antique Autos of Elyria, hio. The work entailed a complete nut and bolt treatment with only slight use, eticulous care and storage in the years following. All restoration invoices and photo documentation come with the sale. Finished in the ideal BRG Paintwork over Camel upholstery with excellent brightwork and understated elegance, he MGA it fitted with correct BMC radio, pare assembly and period driving accessories.
