1954 MG T-Series Roadster

MG began making its T-series sports cars in 1936, hortly after the company withdrew from racing on the orders of its new owner Morris Motors. The first generation TA introduced hydraulic brakes, etter suspension tuning, reliable and responsive pushrod 4-cylinder engine and a 4-speed gearbox borrowed from the Morris 10. After the war, roduction resumed and so did the evolution of the T series. Each successive model of which was imported in large numbers to an American market with an appetite for European-style sports cars. The TF sweeping bodywork, ptional wire wheels and an inline-4 rated at 63 HP. Like its predecessors, he TF offered responsive road manners and superior handling, erfect for the club racing that became so popular after the war. This 1954 MG TF roadster hails from a private collection in the Southwest and represents one of the most sought after models of the MG brand. It features stunning red paint with a lovely black interior and matching top, ll nicely accented with chromed wire wheels. The interior is classic MG: octagonal Jaeger instruments, olding windshield, n original steering wheel, ucket seats and front-opening "suicide" doors.
