Offered for sale by the owner. This is a MGA Roadster 1600cc with the correct engine. The car restoreed by myself in 1980 but is quite usable with it's current cosmetics.The body on this car is very straight with decent fitting panels. The car received a professional paint job when i restored it which is now showing some small minor paint flaws with use. The paint still shines nicely with good color. Overall, the paint is attractive and perfectly fine for a driver. The car's chrome work is good to good overall with some minor wear. The windshield glass is good with no cracks or major chips.The car's interior trim is black vinyl and black carpets. It's in very decent, usable condition with a good black soft top fitted. Will need a new battery and possible rebuild of the fuel pump. The engine was rebuilt, Car has an all new electrical wire harness.The car's 1600cc engine starts easily on the key and warms up nicely. The car runs and drives OK with and is fine mechanically with a good gearbox and strong pulling, healthy engine. The brake pedal is on the hard side and could be improved a bit The master brake cylinder needs a new gasket. The car has been sitting in my garage and would benefit from a general service/ tune up/ looking over. The car is fitted with a set of 60-spoke stock grey matallic paint wire wheels and cross-ply tires.The wheels where trued and balanced.The car's underside is very solid with a good frame. The car has a decent exterior body. Overall, a fairly honest and attractive MGA driver that could be enjoyed as is, but would benefit from a general service and some future cosmetic improvements. This nice looking 1600 Roadster is fitted with a correct and healthy engine and desirable wire wheels.To a true lover of MG cars, this car will not need alot of work to make it look like a new car.
