1974 MG Midget finished in Burgundy with a Black leather interior. a peppy 1,275cc engine producing 54hp/67lb-ft of torque and backed by a proper 4-speed manual transmission. They described the Midget as "the smallest real sports car" upon its release. Throughout the years of the MKIII Midget, MG revised the car up through 1974, but it was never anything major. Updates were mainly emissions and safety related. Moving on, MG released another designation for the Midget and called it the MKIV in 1975.
