1959 MG MGA

This 1959 MGA Twin Cam YD3 1415 was bought new in California and was licensed there through 1967 when it was moved to the midwest. It still has the California black plate that will be given to the new owner!
According to the previous owner, the car was partially disassembled by his father-in-law many, many years ago. The removed parts (front fenders, doors, seats, top bows, windshield, side curtains, floor boards, interior panels, carpets etc.) were stored inside and the rest of the car remained outside under tarps. Critters moved in and filled the trunk and engine compartment shelf with leaves and waste. The result is that these areas of the car are rusted through and need replacement.
I have loosely assembled all of the parts that had been removed. The car is now a complete roller which needs a stem to stern restoration. Using modern vernacular, the car has great bones! it looks rather decrepit, but it is complete and solid!
There is considerable surface rust on the chassis and inner body panels from having the car sit outside. However, the only rust-through that I could find is a small portion of the horizontal section of the inner body near the driver's left knee where the body extends over to the frame (see photo). The frame itself, rockers, sills, dog legs, door opening corners etc. all are very solid. The car doesn't seem to have any rot that is typically found on an MGA.
The engine does not turn over and I did not want to force it for fear of damaging something.. I did remove the spark plugs and put Marvel Mystery Oil in each cylinder. Although the indicated mileage is very low (and probably actual based on wear of the seats), I am certain that the entire engine will have to be disassembled and overhauled.
Transmission has a very tight shift pattern and goes into each gear smoothly.
To the best of my knowledge, ALL of the unique Twin Cam parts are on the car. This includes the engine, overflow tank, thermostat, brake/clutch master cylinders, pedals, rack and pinion, Dunlop disc brakes, Dunlop pin drive knock off wheels (including the spare) 120 mph speedometer, 7500rpm tachometer, TwinCam badges on the front fenders etc.
The following parts are missing: key, wiper arms/blades, headlight assemblies, parking lights, rear bumper brackets, door latches, defroster vent trim, jack, tool kit and MG medallion on the trunk lid.
The car is sold on a bill of sale only. I do not have a title for it, so I picked the eBay category of "Rebuildable" in the listing input.
Inspection of the car in Burlington, Wisconsin is encouraged. I will assist in overseas and domestic shipments, but it is the buyer's responsibility to make all shipping arrangements.
