1980 MG MGB CONVERTIBLE
1980 MG MGB Convertible
1980 MGB Limited Edition Black on Black restored to original condition by MV Classics and most recently British Automotive Repair, LLC. Car has been garaged and not exposed to rain or snow since I have owned it. Car runs beautifully andengine is extremely strong. All bolts andscrews exposed to outside elements were replace with stainless steel, stripped to bare metal, primed, painted with 4 coats DuPont paint and 4 coats clear coat all done professionally.
The following as beencompleted since 2014:
1) drivers side door handle repaired
2)Major and complete tune-up done in 2017: new clutch, new alternator, new engine mounts, new battery, new alternator
3) Just prior to 2014:
> new brake pads and rotor, new belts, new electronic ignition and starter, new engine oilcooler with stainless steel lines
> stainless steel brake hoses, new brass recovery tank
> and the list of replacement parts and improvement's go on (list will be discussed with potential buyer
This is truly a MGB that is in remarkable physical condition, including the engine, exterior, and interior. Simply put, it drives andshows spectacularly. I have had car for four years and must sell now. It is a true joy and fun to drive.
