The car has undergone a complete frame off restoration approximately fifteen years ago. The original car was obviously a very solid car and it showed no signs of major damage or serious rust. The underside of body and fender wells were all painted at the time of restoration which illustrates the quality of the restoration. The car has a rebuilt 1500cc motor, excellent transmission, rebuilt suspension and all mechanicals, major and minor, are very good. This MGA has been upgraded to 60 spoke chrome wire wheels that real make the car sparkle. The wiring harness and a lot of components are new, and electrically all is functioning properly. A modern stereo is hidden behind a magnetic radio blanking panel so tunes are discreetly available if desired. The car and the components have very few miles on them in the ensuing years as this MGA was part of a larger collection whose owner passed away suddenly. We believe the total miles on car since restoration is the 5,290 shown on odometer. Body is very nice, paintwork is smooth and glossy. The panel fit is very good with just the typical MGA door irregularities at lower edges. All chrome is good or new. Windscreen has been replaced so is clear and scratch free. The interior is a lovely biscuit color and has leather seats with matching interior panels. All is well fitted with attention paid to details. The car comes equipped with side curtains and the bag that holds them is present behind the seats. The top frame is fitted to the body, but a new top is present in box but has never been installed as car was never driven in rain. It is a very solid car to drive, the engine revs freely and power is enough to be comfortable at highway speeds. This MGA will provide years of pleasure driving and has shown it will hold up under the test of time due to a properly done restoration. These pure roadsters from the fifties are wonderful blast to drive while exploring the back roads and a joy as sunny weather transportation. This car is a rare bargain when considering what it would cost to build at today's every increasing costs of body, paint chrome and interior work. Payment - A non-refundable deposit of $1000 is due within 48 hours of the auction close and the balance within 7 days of the auctions end. Buyer is responsible for all financing arrangements. All title and paperwork will be completed within 48 hours of receipt of cashiers check or bank wire transfer. Costs associated with express shipment of documents will be responsibility of the buyer.

Shipping - Buyer is to arrange and pay for all shipping costs. We can assist in the coordination of transport pickup. The car is to be picked up within 30 days. Additional storage charges will be made after 30 days.
