1968 MG MGC Roadster w/ Parts Car

1968 MG MGC

This MGC is the ideal starting point for a restoration because the body work is done! This car was originally Snowberry White but it was taken to bare metal and painted British Racing Green. I purchased the car years ago from the estate of a British Car enthusiast. The car is exactly now as it was then. Every part boxed up and stored in the cabin and trunk. I have two small children and it will be 20yrs before I could do anything with it. Time to let it go to someone that can get it back on the road. It has a large stack of receipts from the original owner, original owners manual, BMC dealer service booklet etc. Has the original rubber floor mats too. This car is a non overdrive 4spd manual with a 3.09 rear end. The 1969 parts car is an overdrive equipped 4spd with the 3.3 rear end. The engine appears to have been rebuilt (it was repainted and has all new gaskets) but I don't have any receipts for that. I did print off everything I could find on the previous owners website and that info comes with the car along with the BMHIT Certificate. Alabama doesn't title vehicles of this age so it and the parts car will get a bill of sale. If you will notice, the picture of the bulge that clears the front carb, the previous owner dropped a light on the hood and made a small ding. A little paint missing in the middle. Also a few scuffs in the rear right above where the bumper goes. The parts car is at our other home approximately 20min away. Both homes are close to the hwy but just mentally preparing you for the logistics. Don't hesitate to contact me with questions.
