1958 MG MGA Roadster

Here is a beautiful frame off restored 1958 MGA Roadster finished in the striking and rare color combination of Glacier Blue over a beautiful grey leather interior. This car was the subject of a frame off restoration many years ago and has been used sparingly since, covering about 3000 miles since completion. The body was removed off of the frame all rust repaired and the car was then refinsihed. The result is a great driving MGA featuring a professionally rebuilt high compression engine, rebuilt transmission and so on. This MGA is 100% rust free. The car is in great condition and drives beautifully. This car is 100% turn key and reliable. The car is in excellent condition mechanically. I love MGAs, and this car is absolutely special. This car drives great and turns heads everywhere you go. I have taken almost 200 pictures of this car to show you almost every concievable angle, detail and even the bottom side of the car. This is a great collectible classic that is surely to appreciate in value over the next several years!!! I can assist in shipping anywhere in the world.
Exterior: This MGA Roadster looks great with its beautiful Glacier Blue, bright chrome, and beautiful sweeping lines. The car looks great. The Glacier Blue paint looks stunning on the swooping coachwork of the MGA. The wire wheels really give the car that classic 50s roadster look. Every piece of chrome was replated or replaced at the time or restoration and looks very nice and showing some minor wear since. This car has been driven and enjoyed at car shows and local british car events. This car was painted several years ago and is holding up well. This car comes with a beautiful Black top that is in excellent condition. This car gets thumbs up as you drive down the road and plenty of attention at the gas pump.
Interior: The interior of this classic MG is in excellent condition and looks beautiful. The interior was reupholstered at the time of restoration in leather and look and feel great. The seat is leather and feels VERY soft. It is absolutely gorgeous in person. The carpet is in excellent shape as well and is free of stains etc. The door panels are in great shape as well and the car does come with side curtain. The side curtains are in excellent condition. The dashboard is in excellent nice shape and looks great with its Glacier Blue dash with contrasting chrome rings surrounding the beautiful gauges. The beautiful banjo steering
Engine: The 1500cc 4 cylinder fires right up and runs like a top. This A has had a complete engine rebuild and runs smoothly and beautifully. The engine starts first time every time and the engine does not blow any smoke! For those interested, the engine was rebuilt to a performance build featuring higher compression pistons. I have owned many MGAs and this is by far the strongest engine of any MGA I have owned. It pulls almost as if there was a B engine in it. It is pretty impressive. The carbs have been recently tuned and as a result the car idles great and the engine is very responsive. The engine bay is finished very nicely. You can tell this car was stripped down to the frame and rebuilt from the ground up. The engine has great oil pressure and runs nice and cool even in Arizona's hot climate. The 4 cylinder exhales through a great sounding exhaust system that gives this MG that classic British sports car sound. The transmission was completely rebuilt and shifts very nicely. The steering is nice and tight. The cars brakes stop the car incredibly well and the car stops straight and stops with ease. The car is a joy to motor around town in and gets tons of attention everywhere you go. Take the time to look at the pictures towards the end of the ad to see the underside of the car. This is a great car to waste the weekend away in and is 100% turn key.
Clean MGAs are getting harder and harder to find these days and affordable cars you aren't scared to drive are even more difficult to come across. This MG is sure to make its new owner happy. These classic affordable British sports cars are getting more and more collectible. The beauty of this investment is that you get to DRIVE and enjoy your investment instead of asking your stock broker about how your investment is doing. This car earns lots of thumbs up every where you go and is a pleasure to drive. It would make a great daily driver or a weekend show piece. This car is produced in 1958 and is title as a 1959 because that was the year it was sold.
