1973 MG MGB

For sale by owner, because lack of space. I bought the car in 2001 from my local mechanic and used it from time to time to run about on nice summer days. The odometer reads 4596 miles, that is probably 104596. I put about 1500 on it in 10 years.
The car is in good mechanical condition and has recently undergone extensive work worth over $4000 (all documented), including installation of a new carburetor, fuel pump, fuel lines, spark plugs, break master cylinder, hoses, exhaust system and complete front spindle assembly. The original SU carburetors are also available and need a rebuild. The body has no structural rust. Some body panels show surface rust or bubbles. The vinyl top is new.
The car runs well. The 3rd gear synchromesh may need replacement in the near future. The brakes pull slightly to the left and need to be re-calibrated.
The car is being sold as is and returns will not be accepted. If you are not sure, don't bid or come to see the car in person.
