FOR SALE 1979 MGB Roadster 4-Speed w/Overdrive. This car has had thousands of repairs and parts put in over the years, and I have the receipts to prove it. The engine was rebuilt around 2002, although I do not know how many miles where on the car at the time. The engine has a webber downdraft installed, and I have the original carburetor including all the original SMOG equipment. The radiator has been internally cleaned and all belts and hoses are in great shape. The exhaust is new and pipes are wrapped to reduce heat. Also has a heat plate shield to reduce heat to fuel bowl. Comes with extra valve cover gasket, and carburetor gasket set. All electrical works good with exception of the wiper switch return (wipers stop immediately when you turn them of and do not return to down position). The interior has been replaced and is in excellent shape. The dash has a burlwood finish, and a custom steering wheel finishes the classic look. The dash is cracked but I have a new dash cover. Tonneau cover and top boot are in great shape, while the car does need a new soft top. Furthermore,original soft-top andhardwareare currently installed. Spare tire has a nice cover and a complete original Jack set, and comes with an additional wire wheel and tire. I also have a longer wrench for the knock-off hubs to assist in tire removal. Wire wheels are new and tires almost new. The body has no rust or repair spots that I can find, and suspension has been lowered. Car handles tight and is super nice ride with the 4-speed with Overdrive. This is a great car, but I need room for more projects. Thanks, for looking.
