The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this lovely 1961 MGA 1600 MK I. This car is in wonderful condition and has been sympathetic restored over the years with the goal of producing an excellent driver quality car. The body is painted RED with a BLACK convertible top the interior is done in TAN LEATHER and TAN carpeting. The paint is very good depth and luster and no visible imperfections. New front and rear chrome bumpers with new over riders were installed. The 1600cc engine was refreshed the valves were adjusted the dual SU carbs rebuilt and ignition system overhauled (Pertronix electronic ignition). A new radiator and fuel tank were recently installed. The engine is strong has good power and torque and starts easily. New carburettors were installed within the past year and the car runs and drives just as it should. The hydraulics for the brake and clutch systems have been attended to and well maintained; the car stops with authority. The interior is newer and the seats are leather. Carpets are in nice condition and the trunk was also carpeted. The convertible Stayfast top is excellent and the car has a tonneau cover. The wire wheels are in excellent condition and the Vredestein tires are almost new. She has a modern Sony stereo with ipod hookup a battery cutoff switch Wood steering wheel and a wooden shift knob. The car is mechanically and cosmetically excellent and drives beautifully all she needs is an enthusiastic new owner.
