1968 Mercury Cougar Dan Gurney Special
1968 Mercury Cougar Dan Gurney Special. Power steering, ower brakes. Front disc brakes. Dealer installed Mercury air conditioning. Bodywork done and primer coat on. New turn signal switch. Sequential lights all work. Factory Magnum 500 wheels and near new BF Goodrich tires. Trim removed but all there. Lincoln electric fan conversion as well as electric headlight motor conversion. Rare GTE hood scoop. New upholstery and excellent interior. 289 4bbl, utomatic transmission. Rare rear defrost fan. Front and rear bumperettes. I restored it about 10 years ago for my son who drove it through high school. He joined the military and now I have too many projects so I need to let this one go. Black YOM California plates. Everything is here to make a nice restoration or run as is.
Condition: For a car this old I would rate it as good or better. It was restored when I purchased it in 2004. My son paid for a cheap paint job and when he left for the military I stripped it all off, oping the repaint it and go through it again.
Payment: 500 dollars at auction end and the remainder cash or cashier's check. Shipping/pick-up is the Buyer's responsibility.
