(((1956 MercuryMonterey. Please pay attention to the ad )))The car is apart for repaint. It had old lacquer paint on it and was all cracked. I have over 20K in the car and no time right now to finish it. If someone can use it that's good and if not I will get back to it one day. I have done the complete brake system, exhaust system, new tires, new floor pans, floor braces, and inner and outer rockers. Trunk and etc were good. Needs a little bit of bodywork to get it ready for paint. It is a 1956 !! It is a very solid car. The engine 312 runs super well. New carb, Distributor, Wires coil. and lots that I will forget. I put a 1966 Fairlane 4-speed top loader transmission in it. It does come with the 3-speed overdrive that was in the car. I also have a bolt-in 9-inch Ford rear from a 57 Ford with 350 gears, a continental kit, and a set of cruiser skirts for additional cost. These cars are getting very pricy so if you are handy you can have a nice 56 for under half the price. I have everything for this car including a new carpet and a new headliner. All new weatherstrip and rubber seals I have bought a lot of moldings for this car also. At this time I am working on a 54 Ford Sunliner for myself. Between that and customer cars I just don't have time for the Merc. I will post more pix after they download. Possible classic or muscle car trade ??Thanks for considering and have a great day.
