I have a stock 1965 Mercury Comet Caliante Hardtop for sale.Car is Jamaican yellow with a black interior all stock factory colors.Car is in good shape not a rust bucket.The black bench interior is in great shape no tears or rips,The door panels are in great shape no speaker holes cut into them or warped NO water damage!The headliner is also in great shape no rips or tear, the carpet also has no rips or tears.We have no pet, do not smoke or kids so the car smells clean and fresh no stains !There are no missing emblems or scripts or bent up dented moldings all in graeat shape.The 8 rocker moldings and 4 wheel well moldings are all there in great shape not all dented up or missing pieces or dented up..The bumpers are good still shiny not all rusted up or bent out of shape.It has the stock 289 V8 Engine with a C/4 automatic transmission with power steering.No slipping on the tranny no smoking engine, power steering works great, previous owner said he rebuilt the engine himself about 5000 on the engine.The 289 is very strong, it has the stock single exhaust from the factory put in a dual exhaust with a 4 barrel carb and you will have more power!.The floor boards are good as well as the door, fenders and rockers not all rusted up in good shape.If your looking for a matching numbers 289 V8 1965 comet Caliante hardtop with an easy restoration then this is it.The matching numbers are shown on the door data plate,the stamping on the drivers fender,and the vin number on the title.Car does run,drives good and stops good so you can restore it as you drive to perfection or keep it as is and drive it.Hard to find one for this price and in this condition!This car is in the Seattle Washington area easy with a easy on and off the freeway location.I can help with transportaion by loading up the car and even find a transporter if your out of state.I have many more pics so dont hesitate to ask me for more info...
